The founder of Lethal Star is Mikie Hyman who got the help of his cousin Ruddy and Junior building it up. To this day the sound is still going strong working together to accomplish a common goal. That goal is to take Lethal Star worldwide to be known internationally and head straight for the top. Lethal Star started back in 1991 with one single deck CD player, one Techno CD changer holding a B1UJ and one Radio Shack mixer with no pitch control. Back in those days reggae music was not available on CDs and CD burner was not available to the buying public. In order for us to get our Vinyls and Dubplates on CDs we had to send them to a company called “PUNCH MEDIA” to get them transferred. At the time it costs just about $200 to burn a 60 minute CD. The equipment that we are using now are 2 Pioneer CDJ1000 MK2 and one Pioneer DJM300S Mixer. The first event Lethal Star performed at was a local BBQ at 74 Crittendent Square in Scarborough, Ontario.

I am fortunate to say that I performed with some of the greats and never got booed of stage; I was well received from the audience and every one alike. One of my idol growing up was my brother, Frankie Wilmoth; he was my role model at the time. Below are lists of sounds that I sang on back in Jamaica: ? Audio Teck ? Soul- a -Tarnie ? Satellite ? Mega Sonic ? Mega Force ? Faize Inverta ? Heat Wave ? Midnight Express ? Concarin Lion ? Super J Sound Growing up in Jamaica I dedicated most of my life to music, either by singing or playing a sound. My favorite sounds are: ? Silver Hawk ? Killamanjaro ? Soul-a-Tarnie ? Satellite ? Audio Teck Back in 1991 when I started Lethal Star, I had the same drive, force and intention that I had back in Jamaica. That is never let no one stop my dream, and go for what I want. My motto is in everything you do, put love and respect first. I believe personally that love is the key to the world. Lethal Star the first CD sound in Canada is now a trendsetter an aiming for new heights that cannot and will not be stopped. Love and Respect to all.
